Submission Scope

Breakout
Session

  • Scheduled Time: Afternoon sessions on May 5 and 6. Morning and afternoon sessions on May 7.
  • Session Length: 30 minutes
  • Eligibility Criteria: Researchers, Professionals, Advocates, Practitioners of Cybersecurity from all over the world.
  • Content: Cybersecurity Research, Latest Attack Techniques and Defense Strategies, Practical Experiences in Enterprise Management and Protection, Previously Unpublished Content.
  • Speaker Honorarium:
    An honorarium of NT$6,000 (inclusive of tax) will be provided for each session.

Deep Dive
Session

  • Scheduled Time: Afternoon sessions on May 5 and 6. Morning and afternoon sessions on May 7.
  • Session Length: 45 minutes
  • Eligibility Criteria: Researchers, Professionals, Advocates, and Practitioners of cybersecurity from around the world.
  • Content: Focus on specific cybersecurity topics and guide the audience in a deep exploration. While themes are not restricted, presentation must be focused and in-depth. In addition to a presentation overview, please include a breakdown of the time allocation for each part of it.
  • Speaker Honorarium:
    An honorarium of NT$9,000 (inclusive of tax) will be provided for each session.

CYBERSEC GLOBAL

  • Brief Introduction: CYBERSEC GLOBAL connects cybersecurity experts worldwide to create a truly international platform for knowledge exchange. All presentations will be broadcast through CYBERSEC’s official live streaming channel, reaching global audiences beyond geographical boundaries. This initiative not only amplifies the visibility of your research but also enables you to share insights directly with practitioners across the global cybersecurity community.
  • Language: English

If you haven’t settled on a specific theme yet, please refer to the agenda suggestions below for guidance. Attendees of CYBERSEC primarily include IT professionals, security experts, IT managers, cybersecurity practitioners, and professionals from the corporate, industrial, government, and academic sectors.

Speaker Terms & Conditions

1. Submission Form Guidance

  • Please elaborate on the content of your submission form.
  • Make sure audiences recognize the need and value of your presentation.
  • If you hold roles in both academia and industry, please list all current affiliations in the form.

2. Content Requirements

  • Originality is a high priority. Audiences would like to hear more about your personal experiences, practices, and perspectives.
  • You must hold all legal rights to your presentation content, ensuring it does not infringe on the intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
  • Sales pitches are NOT ALLOWED during your presentation. If you would like to speak in a sponsored session, please let us know and we will contact you right away.

3. Slide Preparation

  • The conference will provide a speaker slide template.
  • Please submit your slide deck at least one week before your session for program committee review. Your slides must include the conference-mandated disclaimer on the designated slide and may not be deleted, edited, masked, or omitted, as it is intended to protect the rights and interests of both speakers and the conference.
  • If your slides include third-party research, images, code, or other copyrighted materials, you must clearly cite the source and licensing to ensure lawful use and respect for intellectual property. In cases of misrepresentation or infringement, the conference may require correction or removal, and may adjust or cancel the session if necessary.

4. Honoraria & Travel Support

  • Honorarium (per session, tax-inclusive):
    • Breakout Session (30 minutes): NT$6,000.
    • Deep Dive Session (45 minutes): NT$9,000.
    • For two-speaker sessions, the honorarium is split evenly between the speakers.
  • Travel Support (for speakers residing overseas): Up to USD 1,000 per speaker. The travel support includes the honorarium; no additional honorarium will be provided.
  • Only speakers who present in person are eligible for the honorarium and travel Reimbursement. Co-authors who do not take the stage are not eligible for any payment.

5. Speaker Exclusive Services

  • On the day of your presentation, a speaker lounge will be available with lunch, refreshments, Wi-Fi, and power outlets.
  • Before the event, you will receive a speaker briefing covering check-in, room equipment, slide test times, and other presentation logistics.
  • All presenting speakers will receive one conference souvenir.

6. Conference Rights and Regulations

  • The conference may modify the agenda and schedule as needed.
  • The conference may use your photo, bio, and session abstract for event promotion.
  • If a speaker does not follow these guidelines, or if the delivered content materially deviates from the accepted proposal, the conference may issue a warning, cancel the talk, and/or decline future proposals, depending on severity.
